The ways in which a ZIP 316 Revision 2 recipient address’s expiry metadata can prevent a payment from being constructed.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
TimeExpired
The address’s expiry time is earlier than the current time.
HeightExpired
The chain has advanced past the address’s expiry height.
Fields
address_expiry: BlockHeightThe address’s expiry height.
chain_height: BlockHeightThe height of the chain tip against which expiry was evaluated.
ExpiryHeightConflict
The transaction’s expiry height would exceed the address’s expiry height.
ZIP 316 forbids sending in this case rather than lowering the transaction’s expiry height to match, since an expiry height derived from the address’s metadata would leak information about the destination on chain.
TransactionExpiryDisabled
The address defines an expiry height, which requires the transaction to carry a nonzero expiry height, but transaction expiry was disabled.
