pub enum SignerView {
Full,
Compact,
}pczt only.Expand description
Selects the view produced by redact_pczt_for_signer, according to the
capabilities of the receiving Signer.
Variants§
Full
The conservative signer view, for general-purpose Signers including deployed hardware signers (e.g. the Keystone ordinary send flow), which this view is validated against in the field.
It removes wallet metadata, Orchard-protocol and Sapling spend
witnesses, and dummy signing keys (a defensive no-op for IO-finalized
PCZTs, whose dummy keys were consumed by the IO Finalizer; per the PCZT
specification, Signers MUST reject PCZTs that contain them). It retains
proofs, binding-signature keys, and anchors, and performs no field
compaction, so the view of a v5 transaction remains representable in
the v1 PCZT encoding (which pczt::Pczt::serialize selects for it).
Compact
The compact signer view, for receivers that support the v2 PCZT
encoding and can restore compacted fields with
pczt::Pczt::resolve_fields.
In addition to the Full redactions — except that Sapling spend
witnesses are retained so that the Signer may verify nullifiers —
this clears zk-proofs and binding-signature keys, compacts resolvable
Orchard-protocol fields, and removes v6 shielded anchors (v5 anchors
are retained because signatures commit to them).
